Invisible Aligners in Hyderabad

While growing up, our parents invested all their attention towards our health, education and values. Aesthetics sometimes took the back seat. But now, cosmetic appeal is trendy. Now, we feel conscious of the way we look or more precisely, how other people see us. This is why, various cosmetic procedures are gaining popularity across the world.

Teeth contribute a major chunk to our cosmetic outlook. It’s only natural that you want to get a perfect set of teeth. So, you go for an Orthodontic Treatment. But doing it is a little difficult for an adult than it is for a child. Why? Because braces show. Yes, no pain, no gain but braces are perceived as juvenile and they take way too long. Many people hesitate to go through an orthodontic treatment just because of this social stigma.

Invisible Orthodontics rescues you from the social discomfort. It lets you take an orthodontic treatment without having your teeth broadcast it to the entire world. The accessories of orthodontic treatment are virtually invisible. You can go about making your smile perfect subtly and silently and with confidence.

Dr Gowds Dental, with pride, takes the credit for introducing the latest kinds of Invisible Orthodontics, especially clear braces i.e. Invisaligns, and thus, opening up new possibilities of dental treatments for the people of the state.

There can be of a few types – each with their unique set of qualities. Let’s see what they are.

Types of Invisible Orthodontics

  • Invisalign: Invisalign has revolutionised the field of orthodontics. Invisaligns are specially designed for adults. But that does not mean that younger people cannot use them. However, they are recommended for use on permanent teeth only. Invisaligns, as the name suggests, are transparent. They are virtually invisible because the transparent material camouflages itself very efficiently with your teeth. Invisaligns look like teeth cages or teeth holders. At the clinic, we will take your dental impressions to make a clear aligner customized just for your teeth. The invisible braces gradually repositions your teeth fixing their alignment. Every week or so, you have to come to the clinic where we will give you a new pair since your teeth have relocated to some extent. In fact, you can talk to our doctors and ask them if they could give you a few sets in hand so that you can cut out the frequent visits.Invisaligns work comparatively faster than Traditional Braces. Mild misalignments can be fixed as soon as 3 months. Another wonderful feature of clear aligners is that they can be removed while you brush your teeth and can be reworn daily. However, they need to be worn for at least 22 hours per day for best results. When it comes to dental health, Invisaligns are an improvement on traditional braces in the sense that they don’t require any adhesive removing which sometimes scrapes out some of our enamel.
  • Ceramic brackets: Ceramic brackets are much like the traditional metallic braces except that they don’t make us look like cannibals. Ceramic braces are made of porcelain and hence blends with the natural colour of out teeth. Although their aesthetic appearance is not as good as Invisaligns, they are a huge improvement on metallic brackets, they pass the test of going unnoticed at the first glance.
However, every good thing comes with an extra cost – the ceramic alternatives are more brittle than their metallic counterparts. You need to be extra careful to not break them. Also, they can stain easily and takes a little longer to show results.
  • Lingual braces: Lingual braces are also known as inside braces or inside Invisible Braces. As you probably can guess from the alternative names, they are placed behind the teeth rather than being placed in the front. Inside braces are considered to have significant cosmetic value for people who want to get their teeth straightened. It is the most economic form of invisible orthodontics.

At Dr Gowds, we have the facilities to provide you with all the options based on your requirement and budget.
